Fassa, Rolle & San Pellegrino
3 days · 3 driving roads · 31 miles of them · best June–September
The Dolomites the other side of the Sella. Campolongo completes the Sella Ronda from Arabba to Corvara; Passo Rolle runs Predazzo to San Martino di Castrozza under the Pale; San Pellegrino links Moena to Falcade. Three short, high days based on Moena or Predazzo. The existing Dolomites weekend is the Sella and Cortina passes — this is Fassa and the Pale.
Getting there
⛴ Eurotunnel Le Shuttle — Eurotunnel, about 36 min, up to 4/hour. Check sailings.
Worth knowing: All three close in winter, typically into June. Campolongo is on the Sella Ronda and is closed to cars on some summer cycling days — the same warning as the existing Dolomites trip. Rolle has a bleak summit and army history; it is not a café pass. Distances are tiny; the days are weather and hairpins. Fuel in Arabba, Predazzo and Moena. Book San Martino well ahead.
