Where to stop on the Ryfylke Scenic Route
- Høllesli viewpoint — Lysefjorden lookout on Rv13 between the bridge and tunnel; Preikestolen trailhead is a spur inland.
- Drøs café — Independent café-bakery in Sand, mid-route on Rv13, with home-roasted coffee and pizza.
- Høse bru viewpoint — Lit footbridge over Suldalslågen at Sandsfossen; salmon ladder beside the old studio.
- Svandalsfossen viewpoint — 540 steps into the spray between Ropeid and Sauda; keep to the signed rest area off the road.
- St1 Røldal fuel — Pumps on Haukelivegen at the north end — fill here before Saudafjellet or the Hardanger climb.
