The gentle giant of Swiss passes: wide, beautifully surfaced sweepers from Romansh-speaking Disentis over the 1,915 m Passo del Lucomagno and past the Santa Maria reservoir into Italian-speaking Blenio. Fast, flowing and far quieter than the Gotthard next door.
