The surviving southern half of Gran Canaria's legendary west-coast road: a relentless chain of switchbacks over the wild passes above Tasarte and Veneguera, past the rainbow-striped rocks of Los Azulejos. Remote, raw and gloriously empty compared with the resort coast.
